Beautiful Disaster (2023)

Bad-boy Travis is exactly what college freshman Abby needs and wants to avoid. He spends his nights fighting in underground boxing matches, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. But Abby wants nothing to do with Travis. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance, Travis offers her a simple bet: if he loses his next fight, he must remain sex-free for a month. If he wins, Abby must live in his apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that Abby’s dark past is about to emerge, and he may have finally met his match.

Virginia played amazing. She was funny and unique. Can’t wait to see where she is headed. Dylan is insanely gorgeous and he played really well, I believed all his emotions and there are some good laughs in this movie that you will get even better if you’re a bit older then just high-school/collage kinda range. Recommend it, it’s just fit a Nighy of fun.

Love it. Don’t know what else to write beside I love little Ben in Friends. He grow up to be an handsome man. It’s a great funny movie for a nice easy night. Go watch it. It gives you a good excitement I promise. I can feel it’s similar to kissing booth but it’s better!

A timeless classic it’s not, but I had a great time watching this movie. It felt like the producers replaced all of the After self-seriousness with a healthy dose of lighthearted self-awareness, and the result is so much more watchable. Especially in the first half, each predictable plot turn came with a big wink to the audience, which somehow made me forgive the predictability and just go along for the ride. The two leads had excellent chemistry – I was especially impressed by Dylan Sprouse, who came across very charming but authentic. I’d watch another self-deprecating romcom like this, over the treacly fare that’s dominated the genre for a while.
