Review:

Some of the people on here don’t appreciate the film because they’re confused by the history that is embodied in the movie and all I can say is if they crack a book pertaining to the events of the early 20th century they may enjoy the movie a whole lot more.

The acting was well done and there were enough surprises in the film that more than a few times one would have to shake their head.

SOME of the characterization of the chief players in history was a little over the top however Rasputin was not and I’m sure many people would be shocked to discover that even his portrayal in this movie might have been tame.

The fight scenes were well choreographed managed to get the blood flowing because you were never quite sure how it was going to end.

Although the beginning of the movie was slow and boring to some it was necessary to set up what was to come. Please remember that things like The Boer War, The prelude to WW 1 and the actual war itself spanned a long period of time. Boiling all of that down into roughly 30 minutes was not easy and the writers did an excellent job of it.

Overall, if you want to enjoy a GOOD movie and exit the theater with a smile knowing your money was well spent, I highly suggest you see this movie.
